The goal of the AM Professional Body of Psychologists is to promote, represent, and develop various facets of psychology as a profession. The mission of the body of Professional Psychologists is to elevate psychology to the status of a top profession by fostering innovation and creativity. The professional body’s mission is to advance, promote, and publicize the interests of professional development throughout the spectrum of psychology specialties. The professional body will offer a forum for the academic interchange of professional practices and the advancement of numerous psychological subfields and related professions. The goal of the APBP is for people to grow fully both as individuals and as groups within the specific context of society.
Aims
 To promote and safeguard the interests of psychology’s professional development in India.
 To strive towards ensuring that professional psychological treatments adhere to high moral standards.
 To expand the scope of expert psychological services in the area of people’s holistic development
 To encourage professionals to collaborate with one another in addressing societal issues.
 To advance and share expertise in psychology and its applications for the good of both people and the larger community.
 To honour and incentivize members of the body for their outstanding contributions to the advancement of psychology practice as a profession.
 To organize conferences, seminars and workshops to exchange professional practices, skills, researches and experiences for the holistic development people and society at large.
